Emily Constance Photography
/Emily Mason’s Grandma Phyllis had a floor-to-ceiling wall of family photos in her home. Growing up, Emily loved the images and looking through old albums and memories with her grandmother. A love for photography took root, and today in her business, Emily still works with a deep reverence for the fact that her clients’ wedding and engagement images are history in the making.
A wife herself, Emily shares that many of her favorite wedding day memories reside in the imperfect: groomsmen vests that were too short; unity candles getting stuck on their stand; her and her husband not knowing where to walk after their bubble exit. Having experienced the joy that persists even through these foibles, she rejoices, too, in her clients’ entrance into a sacrament that offers an outpouring of grace through imperfection, capturing authentic emotion and beauty.
From Emily:
Photography is my favorite art form because it is a beautiful expression of God's creation! When I am not photographing weddings, I photograph [my parish’s'] preschool, Confirmation, and First Communion.
As a Catholic, I know my way around the Mass and can guide my couples both personally and professionally through their big day. I hired many Catholic vendors for my own wedding.—it was important to me that our wedding day reflect the beauty and timelessness of the sacrament.
